The Whiskey Chaser

Hello again to all the friends and members of Kilkenny Whiskey Guild. Firstly I hope you are all keeping well, safe, healthy and of course happy. These are truly unprecedented times, One could be forgiven for dipping into their stash of Whiskeys and spending the day catching up on their Whiskey news. For myself its been an interesting few months. On the back of my last Guild blog post I decided to chance my arm and do a bit of blog writing more often. Since the lock down has happened i have taken it upon myself to try and learn new skills, one of which was learning to build websites. In particular my own blog. TheWhiskeyChaser.ie is my newest venture. Relating to all things Irish Whiskey, reviews, stories and learning from some of the industry experts. As an engineer by trade (Retired), I have always been fascinated by processes, mechanics, learning & sharing. The idea behind this blog is pure and simple, learning. I wanted to create a place where whiskey novices & experts alike can find information on some of the more technical aspects of whiskey creation, collecting & drinking. Do please join me on my adventure, Subscribe to my mailing list to keep updated on new posts, and of course follow me on social media for a bit of a laugh time to time. I would personally like to thank the Guild for giving me this opportunity to showcase my blog to the members. Without the Guild this would have never of have happened.
